# Webhook Timeouts

The webhook API currently has the following timeouts:

| Timeout Type       | Duration   |
| ------------------ | ---------- |
| Connection timeout | 10 seconds |
| Read timeout       | 15 seconds |

## Best Practices

* Ensure your webhook endpoint responds quickly (within the timeout limits)
* For long-running operations, acknowledge the webhook immediately and process asynchronously
* Monitor your endpoint response times to avoid timeout issues
